DPG is a distribution and marketing business. It builds and manages referral channels through which people may, with their consent, be introduced to licensed financial advisers.

3. Licensed financial advisers
Where an introduction is made, the licensed financial adviser:
- provides any advice or financial service only as, or as a representative of, an authorised financial services provider, and not on behalf of DPG;
- is solely responsible for assessing your needs and for any advice, recommendation, product or service they provide; and
- is responsible for their own regulatory obligations, including the disclosures the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act requires, such as the details of their financial services provider and any conflicts of interest.
Our relationship with the licensed adviser
One of DPG's directors is a licensed financial adviser and a representative of an authorised financial services provider. People introduced through DPG may be referred to him.
- When he advises a client, he does so solely as a representative of that financial services provider, under its licence and supervision. He does not act for DPG, and DPG plays no part in the advice.
- Because he is also a director of DPG, he may have a financial interest in introductions made through DPG. This is a potential conflict of interest. He discloses this relationship, together with his financial services provider's details, when he first engages with a client.
- You are under no obligation to take advice from him, or to buy any product, and you may consult any other adviser.
DPG does not recommend, endorse or guarantee any particular financial product, product supplier or outcome, and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of licensed professionals or product suppliers.
4. Referral partners
DPG's referral partners make introductions only. They are not DPG's employees, agents or representatives, and they are not authorised to give advice, explain or compare financial products, complete applications or negotiate on anyone's behalf, or to bind DPG in any way. If a referral partner appears to be acting outside this role, please tell us at info@distributionpartners.co.za.
5. No guarantee of outcome
An introduction does not guarantee that a licensed professional will contact you, provide a quotation, offer a product or accept an application. Any product or service is subject to the licensed professional's and product supplier's own terms and requirements.

DPG takes reasonable care to ensure that information on this website is accurate when published, but does not warrant that it is complete, current or free from error. Information may change without notice.
